The 269-room, seven story Hyatt Regency Yogyakarta is built on the concept of "Legacy of a Misty Tropical Ruin Village", an ancient ruin and supporting village, sitting in the amidst of a tropical jungle. Wrapped around the sprawling 24 hectare hotel grounds is a nine-hole golf course designed by Fisette Golf Design and landscaped by Tongg, Clark and McCelvey, both from Hawaii. The golf course is par 30 with 6 par - 3 holes and 3 par - 4 holes and plays to 1835 meters. Each hole has three tee-off areas to accommodate professional, men and lady golfers. There is also a flood-lit Driving Range open daily from 06:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Four local instructors, with various levels of expertise, can provide personalized lessons for local playing guests and members.
