Wenchang City lying in the northeast of Hainan Province. Its subtropical location has a delightful climate with adequate sunshine and spring all year round that makes it an excellent place for golf, relaxation and holiday.

Wenchang Golf Club is about 50 minutes from Haikou City and 30 minutes from Haikou Aiport. The golf course was designed by Malaysian designer Albert Chua. It is a par 72, 18-hole USGA standard championship golf course. It covers a land area of more than 2,000 Mu.

The golf course has 14 lakes, 77 big sand bunkers, manicured undulating fairways and an island green. Teeing off requires accuracy rather than distance.

Big long bunkers, mound on and around the fairways and greens will prompt you to try that tricky chip shot. A bad tee off or a bad approach may leave you with a double bogey or more.

The club house has 40 standard rooms with lake or golf course view, Chinese cuisines, coffee lounge, lobby bar, outdoor terrace, business center, pro-shop and a 16-bay driving range.
