Local scenery spots: 1.Two Rivers and four lakes:
Two rivers: Li river and it's tributary, Peach-Blossom river; Four lakes: BanyanLake( or RonghuLake), FirLake(ShanhuLake), XijingLake and MulongLake. The BanyanLake and Fir lake local in the city center of Guilin. There are two famous towers at the FirLake. The BanyanLake(RonghuLake), is the most beautiful and spectacular. The XijingLake is the biggest and longest among the four lakes. There are a lot of briges that immitated famous bridges of all other countries. The tour is also a lesson of history of bridges and bridges of countries. The MulongLake, was an ancient lake but newly dug and reconstructed years ago. There is an imitation city of Song dynasty by the MulongLake. This is also another attraction of Guilin tourism.
2.Solitary Beauty Peak
SolitaryBeautyPeak stands in solitary grace in the center of the ancient JingjiangPrincelyMansion . Towering abruptly from the ground with an elevation of 216 meters, it is said to be the Sky-Supporting Pillar in the South of China . During the Southern dynasty (420-589), some 1500 years ago, Yan Yanzhi, governor of Guilin , wrote "none can surpass this solitary peak in beauty" and it is therefore called SolitaryBeautyPeak . At the foot of the peak are Dushu (Study) Rock, Taiping (Peace) Rock and Yueya (Crescent) Pond. On the east side of the hill there are many inscriptions from the Qing dynasty, such as "Southern Sky-supporting Pillar" and "Purple Gown and Golden Belt." A flight of 396 stone steps leads from the west foot of the hill up to the top, where one has a commanding a panoramic view of the whole city and all the surrounding mountains. This peak is in the Grounds of the GuangxiNormalCollege . Visitors can enter after 2:00 pm. You can reach Solitary Beauty Hill from a bus which leaves from outside the train station or it's a 45 min walk from the center the city
3. Elephant Trunk Hill Elephant Trunk Hill is located on the western bank of Li River. The shape of the hill is just like a huge elephant drinking water from the river with its trunk, so it is called Elephant Trunk Hill.
4. Old East Fall OldEastFalls is located in 26 kilometers east of Guilin, down along the LijiangRiver, located in Guilin --- kwan'am travel line, is a scenic area development comer. DaxuAncientTown is situated at the east bank of the Li River, 23 km (14.3 miles) southeast of GuilinCity. Having a history of more than 1000 years, the town originally formed in the early Northern Song Dynasty (960-1126) and was the leader of four renowned ancient towns in GuangxiProvince as early as 600 years ago. Fine examples of the town's long history include: the GaozuTemple, the HanhuangTemple built in the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), the assembly halls, and the two-kilometer long bluestone street lined with many well maintained buildings. The Seven Stars Tombs discovered in 1990s add an element of mystery to the ancient town. The seven tombs were arranged in the form of the Big Dipper constellation and the size of the tombs was designed according to the brightness of the stars. It has been the first case of its kind in China. And the relationship between the tomb and the Big Dipper constellation remains a mystery. However, one thing is for certain: the funeral objects excavated from the tombs are of great value.
6. Yao shan Mountain YaoshanMountain lies in the east of Guilin , 12 km from the downtown. The highest peak is 903.3 meters high and is the highest hill in Guilin . It received its name from a Yao emperor temple, which was built the top of the mountain in the Tang dynasty. Each season offers a different view. In spring azalea flowers are everywhere, in summer the bamboo compete with each other for greenness and in autumn the red maples with falling leaves make the hill appear as though it's afire. The winter's snow on mountains is as transparent as pure crystal. The Hill has several places of interest including YaoTemple , WhiteDeerTemple , Jade Breast Pond and Tianci Field. Jingjiang King Tomb's covering over 100 square meters are the most famous attractions in the area. Completed in 1996, a 1,416.18 meter long cable car connects the top and the foot and offers bird's-eye views of wonderful peaks and surrounds. The 1,000m sloping track has 18 curves, which enables tourists to travel through mysterious forest. The cable car was imported from Doppelmatry Cable Car Co. Austria. It is equipped with an alarm system, a TV monitor protection system. The cable is 1416.18m long from the bottom to the top.
7. 1 Ddy of Li River Cruise Travelling: Guilin to Yangshuo to Guilin A cruise along the Li River between Guilin and Yangshuo is an unforgettable experience. As you take in the stunning scenery there's something interesting to see at almost every bend in the river. Between spectacular limestone peaks you'll see graceful bamboo groves, farmers tending rice paddies, and lumbering water buffaloes pulling carts or cooling off in the river. You may see fishermen gliding along on their narrow bamboo rafts, and if you're very lucky you might see one of the famous fishing cormorants. Boats depart from various wharves, according to the height of the river at different times of the year.

The Golf Course has 18 holes ready, among which there are hilly golf ways from No.1 to 9 and valley ways from No.10 to 18. It presents a breath-taking natural wonder with exciting challenges and unique experience to golfers of various levels.
Situated at the foot of MoPan Hill and between the Chinese Marina and Foreign Marina of Li River, Li River Golf & Country Club has a great location with fantastic view over the Guilin landscape among three golf clubs of GuilinCity. SolitaryBeautyPeak (Duxiu Feng) is located in downtown area of Guilin city. This place was named after the famous poet Yan Yanzhi of the Southern Dynasty. There is a natural stone chamber located in the east of the hill and it is believed to be the study used by Yan Yanzhi when he was the Magistrate of Guilin 1,500 years ago. The peak provides a good view of the town below. It has been called the "pillar of the Southern Sky." In the haze of dawn or the glow of sunset the peak is purple or gold. A climb up the 306 stone steps to the top is rewarded by a panoramic view of the city. The view from here shows clearly the many limestone pinnacles that rise out of the flat land that surrounds them.
